Funding Futures helps people gain skills and confidence for a better future. Our team, many of whom have been through our programs, are dedicated to helping you succeed. This passion comes from our founder’s own journey, which continues to inspire everything we do.

Our Story So Far

We began as a growing hair and beauty business with salons and a training centre
offering appointments and educational courses to our private clients.

We are passionate about making a difference to the lives of young women and girls
in our community. We understand that some young women have to navigate very
difficult circumstances and opportunities for change don’t always appear to be
available. We are dedicated to challenging this narrative and showing that a brighter
future is more than possible.

We quickly became aware that through the infrastructure we already had in place,
we could do something much more meaningful. We learnt by providing high quality,
accessible education and training courses, we could support young women on their
journey towards a better future.

Over time, our journey led us to support women and girls facing all kinds of
challenges. From homelessness to family struggles and beyond. What inspires us
every day is seeing them discover their strength, their worth and their potential.
In 2023, we launched UK Funding Futures CIC with a clear mission to grow our
work, to reach more women and to create real opportunities that help to transform
lives. We are committed to breaking down barriers to learning and to ensuring that
our training programmes are always inclusive and empowering for all.

Hayley Co-Founder

Billy Co-Founder

Hayley and Billy drive the vision and strategy behind Funding Futures.
Hayley leads on programme design, community impact and building stronger relationships across the education sector to influence systematic change.
Billy oversees operations and the strategic growth of the organisation with a focus on contract negotiations, funding, social return on investment, relationship building and impact reporting. Together, they ensure that Funding Futures remains innovative, responsive, and rooted in community need.

Louisa Operations Manager

Louisa plays a vital role in the smooth running of the day-to-day operations at Funding Futures. She oversees programmer delivery, manages partnerships, and supports our women during the enrollment phase. She supports the wider team in ensuring that high standards are met across all areas of work. Louisa’s strong organisational skills help turn strategy into action, ensuring every detail is in place to create a meaningful and lasting impact.

Alana Content Creator

Alana is the creative force behind Funding Future’s visual storytelling. As Content Creator, she captures the moments, voices and impact that defines the organisation’s work. From filming and editing to designing social content and digital assets. Alana ensures everything shared feels on brand, engaging and aligned with our mission. Her work helps bring our community stories to life and inspires others to get involved.

Siobhan Educator, Mentor & Project Coordinator

Sophie Educator, Mentor & Project Coordinator

Siobhan and Sophie (a Funding Futures graduate) wear various hats at Funding Futures, working as Educator’s, Mentor’s & Project Coordinator’s. They support women throughout their journey with compassion and consistency. Whether that is delivering training, providing one-to-one mentoring or managing daily programme logistics, they play a vital role in providing a safe, creative space so that our women feel seen, supported and ready to thrive. They are a key link between the women we support, their communities and education we provide.

Amy Educator

Shauna Educator

Our Educators are at the heart of Funding Future’s training programmes. They are the driving force behind delivering expertise, passion and empathy to every session. More than instructor’s, they are mentors and role models who create inclusive, empowering learning environments. They deliver accredited training while building confidence, nurturing ambition while supporting each woman’s personal and professional development. Their work turns potential into progress, one woman at a time.

Nicha Education Assistant

Nicha is a Funding Futures graduate who now works as an Educator Assistant and supports our social media content. Having experienced the journey first hand, Nicha brings empathy, understanding and reassurance to the ladies we support. Whether she is assisting on our training programmes or capturing powerful moments for our online platforms, Nicha plays a key role in increasing confidence, building trust and demonstrating what is possible with the right support. She is a brilliant example of the impact of our work.
