Empower Her - 10 Weeks

Empower Her is is your first step toward achieving your dreams. It’s designed to build confidence, life skills, and a pathway to employment, self-employment, or further education.

Core Skills & Personal Development:

  • Accredited Qualifications in Gel Polish Nails, Brow Bar Services, and Basic Facials
  • A professional beauty kit to use during and after the course.
  • Life skills workshops covering confidence, communication, and wellbeing
  • One-to-one mentoring throughout and after the programme
  • Progression support into work, business, or further learning

Connect Her - 6 Weeks

Connect Her helps you become digitally confident and emotionally strong, giving you the tools to thrive in modern life and work.

Practical Skills & Wellbeing

  • A Chromebook to keep and use throughout your training
  • Training in essential digital skills — Word, Excel, email, and online safety
  • An accreditation in managing your own mental health and wellbeing
  • Confidence and wellbeing sessions to boost self-belief and resilience
  • Practical learning activities to prepare for work and everyday life
  • Continued access to mentoring and digital support after the course

Mental Health & Resilience Training

Participants also take part in a CPD-accredited mental resilience course: The Personal Power and Pride Programme, which includes knowledge, skills, and attitudes training to support emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and confidence. They receive a CPD accredited qualification in Managing Mental Health & Building Resilience upon completion of the course.

Connect Her empowers women with long-term access to digital tools and a structured, supportive environment. It builds competence, confidence, and resilience through a combination of tech training and personal development.

Elevate Her - 6 weeks

Elevate Her helps you grow personally and professionally while taking your beauty skills to the next level. It’s all about confidence, connection, and creating new opportunities.

Essential Skills for Success:

  • One accredited qualification in Builder Gel Nails or Lash Lift & Tint
  • A professional beauty kit
  • Personal development sessions covering budgeting, communication, and goal setting
  • A “Run the Salon for a Day” experience, building teamwork and customer skills
  • Entry into our mentorship programme for ongoing guidance after completion

Wraparound Support

We also provide comprehensive wraparound care to support our learners after they have finished their training. This dedicated support is to help you navigate your next steps and continue your journey towards a brighter future.

Once you have completed your course, you will be paired with a dedicated post-programme mentor. For 3 months, they will work closely with you, providing personalised 1:1 support to help you with a variety of needs. They will act as your guide, helping you access the resources and support you need to thrive.

Our wraparound support is tailored to you and your individual needs, including support with:

  • Career development: From CV writing and job searching to interview preparation and work experience placements. Your mentor will help you build the skills and confidence needed to secure employment.
  • Wellbeing & Practical Support: We understand that your wellbeing is just as important as your professional development. We can help with food bank referrals, provide access to our free counselling service and provide Data Bank SIM cards if needed.
  • Connecting You to Resources: If you need support with something we don’t provide, your mentor will assist with referrals to other support services.

Our gentle approach means you can ease in at your own pace, with pre-visits and even travel training if you need it. Programmes run just 1-2 days a week within school hours, making them flexible around childcare and other commitments. We also offer practical help with travel costs and signposting to free travel options.
  • A Safe & Supportive Community: This is a judgment-free zone. Our secure facilities offer unconditional inclusivity and a zero-tolerance policy for bullying. You’ll be part of a community where staff, many of whom have been through our programmes themselves, provide ongoing mentorship, job application help, and business support – ensuring you’re never left behind.
