You want to fund programs that genuinely change lives, not just provide temporary relief. How can you be sure your investment leads to long-term employment and reduces reliance on benefits, instead of simply fading away when the funding ends?
The goal is to empower organisations to stand on their own. How do you ensure your funding fosters self-sufficiency and innovation, rather than fostering a permanent reliance on public grants?
Every penny of public money needs to be justified. How can you confidently demonstrate a clear return on investment and exceptional value for money, backed by hard data and measurable KPIs, to both taxpayers and councillors?
You strive for initiatives that generate positive public narratives and align with government policy. How do you mitigate the risk of negative media attention or political fallout from a program that might not meet expectations?
A deep-seated mindset of government reliance exists in some communities. How can your funding help inspire individuals to break free from this generational pattern, especially when family dynamics might inadvertently keep them tied to benefits?
We operate with a clear 12-month calculation and a five-year forecast, not as a charity funding core activities, but as a social enterprise focused on supporting actual individual transformation.
We run like a business, consistently improving our systems, infrastructure, and skills. Our grants aren't just spent; they're strategically used to test and refine fundamental models that evolve into repeatable, marketable programs.
We keep our operations lean, ensuring every penny contributes to scalable, process-driven solutions. When we identify a problem, we don't just fix it once; we systematise it, turning challenges into efficient, repeatable processes that amplify impact.
Our bespoke impact reports provide direct, measurable results with complete transparency. Every outcome is calculated and audited by independent third parties, meaning we don't just mark our own homework.
We are recognised trailblazers and industry leaders, with our founders sitting on influential bodies like the Enterprise Grant Fund Taskforce and the GMCA VCFSE, ensuring our methods are consistently outstanding and rigorously proven.
We're constantly at the forefront of social, economic, and political challenges, making us inherently adaptive.
Our front-line presence means we understand the real-time pain points. Our case studies and impact assessments are verified by independent third parties, and our active involvement in key networks—like the Bolton Wider Leaders Network and Wigan & GM Learner Providers networks—keeps us ahead of emerging trends, such as the demand for ESOL.
We act as a strategic conduit, channeling grassroots insights to inform government policy and relaying community barriers back to decision-makers.
We actively seek out and empower individuals from families where unemployment has been a generational norm, inspiring them to change their trajectory.
Every aspect of our programs is geared towards sustained employment, self-employment, or further education. From ongoing mentorship and additional post-program workshops to providing essential insurance and equipment, we actively work to dismantle generational and societal barriers, guiding individuals towards a future of independence and empowerment.
I got offered by a friend to come and do the lash course. It was a such down time in my life. I was sofa surfing and was loosing all hope of being here anymore. The course gave me more of a purpose to get up and make something of my life. Since being on this course, it has built up my confidence and given me a qualification by having strong likeminded women who help each other. I will be forever grateful.
This course has helped me so much with my confidence and social skills as well as making new friends and realising there’s no limits to my potential. The women on the course are so supportive and help in every way possible. I would recommend this course to anyone who is unsure about what they can achieve.
