Elevate Her

Our Elevate Her programme is a shorter programme than Empower Her but has equally been thoughtfully and carefully designed to support and uplift young girls and women, keeping their unique challenges and aspirations at the heart of its mission.

The programme is designed to offer a comprehensive introduction to the beauty industry, providing the essential first steps needed to establish a strong and reliable foundation for future success.

Our Programme

  • In the first week, we warmly welcome you into the salon environment, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy beauty treatments and immerse yourself in a supportive and relaxing space. This time is designed for you to connect with others in the group who share similar interests and experiences, fostering a sense of community and belonging. As you settle in, our aim is to help you feel at ease in your surroundings, creating a safe, comfortable, and happy atmosphere where you can truly be yourself.

  • We customise the session to suit your unique needs, focusing on developing practical skills that are relevant to everyday life, business, and social interactions. This session includes enhancing digital skills, where you’ll use laptops to create business names and price lists, as well as working on budgeting skills to price your treatments and manage stock effectively.

Additionally, we explore interpersonal skills, helping you build confidence in starting and maintaining conversations with people when meeting them for the first time. These tailored activities are designed to equip you with valuable tools for personal and professional growth.

  • During these sessions, you will gain an ABT-accredited qualification, recognised within the beauty industry. The qualifications you can choose from are either Builder Gel Nails or Lash Lift and Tint. The training covers both theoretical and practical aspects, ensuring you receive the most current knowledge and hands-on experience.

By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident and fully prepared to embark on your new career with competence and professionalism.

  • In Week 6, you and your group will have the exciting opportunity to take over the salon for the day, managing your own diaries while receiving supervision and support if needed. Dressed in full salon uniform, this day is your moment to shine, inviting family, friends, or members of your community to enjoy complimentary treatments and witness the dedication and hard work you’ve poured into the programme.

At the end of the day, you’ll be presented with your professional kit and guided through the next steps of your journey through mentorship, marking a proud milestone in your progress.

On completion each candidate will leave with:
